Checking out the deer lease

After the lift was installed we drove out to the deer lease to check on the deer stands. This little XJ didn't have any problems at all.

Lift kit finished

Bryan wanted a simple jeep cherokee that could carry all his hunting gear and get him anywhere on the ranch in Shawnee, OK. where he regularly hunts.

Building the suspension

I installed the Rough Country 3.5 inch lift so fast we didn't have time to take any photos. One problem we ran into on this build was the rear leaf springs were made for 4.5 inch lift. Rough Country worked with us to get the new ones delivered right away without any hassle. These photos were taken the day we replaced the 4.5 spings with the correct 3.5 leafs.

This web blog will illustrate the 1989 Jeep XJ built by Drew for Bryan Cheatwood in Choctaw, Oklahoma. I hope you like it.
